This is a little snip of my booth at the UC Art Fair last month. For the summer, I'll be selling mostly at markets and fairs to get things rolling. You can find P&P at the Missoula Saturday Market this Saturday morning, May 10th.

It's been a while

Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted in a month- so bad. The reason is that Piper and Paisley has become pretty busy these days, can't complain about that!
Opportunities to purchase locally this month are:
-Saturday, May 10th and 17th at the Missoula Saturday Market (assuming the weather holds out- nobody wants a soggy hat!)
-Grand Opening of the Missoula Dance Collective (date TBA), and in their retail shop thereafter
-Selvedge Studio (on Higgins just South of the bridge)

Piper and Paisley was on the home page of Etsy today! theseawithin made a beautiful Treasury collection that was featured as "handpicked items." Piper and Paisley For Sale @ Selvedge Studio!

I've finally gotten a chance to begin using my new fabrics. So refreshing to work with new material! I've been attempting to make these new batches appropriate for spring..... successful so far, I think! This Friday will mark the first day of retail hat sales at local fabric store Selvedge Studio. They will carry hats made of fabrics sold in their store. Of course, the full Piper and Paisley line can always be found and purchased at my Etsy store www.piperandpaisley.etsy.com. Stop on by Selvedge this Friday night for the Project Selvedge fashion show.... always a good time :)

Spring Is In the Air!

Two days ago, I stepped out into my yard to see my first spring crocuses! I love this time of year so much. Everywhere are little splashes of bright, bold colors. I find it so inspiring! In fact, not only does it inspire the creation of fresh new hats, but I am having so much fun taking pictures of them! Here's a new one called the Diaz Hat.

First Friday

It's First Friday in Missoula! What does that mean? On the first Friday of every month, there are artistic events all over town. Galleries show new art, downtown businesses hold events, and there is often wine and snacks :)
At Selvedge Studio, there will be a fashion show! That's right, tonight is week one of Project Selvedge. Designers create garments in response to weekly challenges and show off their goods at Selvedge each Friday night. Sounds inspiring, doesn't it? Well, Piper and Paisley's main gal, Jen, is privileged to be a judge for this lovely contest. Events begin @ 6:00. Hope to see you there tonight!

Coming Up!

Well, this year has proved to be so exciting, and so overwhelming at the same time! Piper and Paisley is out of hibernation! Hats will be available for purchase at the UC Art Fair and the Missoula Saturday Market (beginning the first Saturday in May). If you're looking for a chance to buy before then, you can always shop on my Etsy page.
